Village Yarikta

The ulus (village) is located on the Barguzinsky Highway, at the foot of the Barguzinsky Range, on the right bank of the Barguzin River, near its Buktur channel, where the Iringa and Ulzykha rivers flow into it. It is 42 km northeast of the district center, the village of Barguzin, and 10 km from the center of the rural settlement, the Ulyun ulus.

Attractions
The miraculous image of the goddess Yanzhima on a large boulder 1 km from the village was discovered in 2005 by lamas of the traditional Buddhist Sangha, led by Pandito Khambo Lama Damba Ayusheyev. Yanzhima is the goddess of the arts, sciences, crafts, wisdom, and prosperity. She is associated with purity, innocence, and the creation of the new. The Indian name for the goddess Yanzhima is Saraswati.

Barguzinsky Datsan.
A trip to the Barguzin Valley, visiting historical and cultural monuments. The purpose of this tour is to introduce the traditional culture, religion, and everyday life of the people living in the Barguzin Valley. A visit to the village of Barguzin, founded in 1647, is the cultural center of the Barguzin Valley and the place of exile of the Decembrists Mikhail and Wilhelm Küchelbecker. The tour also includes the restored Transfiguration Cathedral, a Jewish cemetery, unusual for the region, and a tour of the natural beauty of the Barguzin Valley. The T-62 was erected as a monument in memory of front-line soldiers, natives of the Barguzin Valley, on May 7, 2017. A previously installed memorial stele and cross is located nearby.

Adamovo village.
Svetlaya Polyana Park-Museum. The 3-hectare museum is located in a picturesque area on the shore of Lake Baikal. The park-museum is being built as a 17th-18th-century settlement in the style of Russian wooden architecture. The open-air museum was created in 1996 on the initiative of artist Vladimir Nikolaevich Shelkovnikov. Cottages for accommodation The tourist accommodations are built in the style of Russian towers, two-story buildings, decorated with wood carvings, and well-maintained.

Ust-Barguzin (National Park)
Svyatoy Nos is the only large mountainous peninsula on Lake Baikal. It is 53 km long, up to 20 km wide, and has an area of ​​596 square kilometers. The peninsula's highest point is 1,878 meters.
Barguzin Bay is one of the most beautiful bays on Lake Baikal and one of the best recreation areas in Buryatia. It is part of the Zabaikalsky National Park. The bay covers an area of ​​approximately 700 square kilometers and extends almost thirty kilometers into the mainland, making it the largest bay on Lake Baikal. The width of the bay between the southern tip of Svyatoy Nos (Cape Nizhneye Izgolovye) and Cape Krestovy is approximately twenty kilometers. At this point, the water depth is about a kilometer, gradually decreasing to one meter toward the mouth of the Barguzin River.

S. Suvo:
Suvinskaya Saxony is a 400-meter-long stretch of cliffs at the foot of the Ikatsky Ridge. They form a picturesque group reminiscent of the ruins of Gothic buildings found in the German provinces—hence the name "Saxony." The first part of the name comes from the Evenki word "Suvoya" or "Suvi," meaning "whirlwind." It is a candidate for the Association.

The ulus is located at the foot of the Barguzinsky Ridge, 10 km from the center of the rural settlement, Ulyun Ulus, on the Barguzinsky Highway.
By car (travel time from Ulan-Ude to Yarikta Ravine is 6-7 hours).
